Christmas Parade Receives Awards

Citation from the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of KentuckyThe Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade committee has been honored with several awards.  The Kentucky Travel Industry Association has named the parade to its Top Ten Winter/Holiday Festivals and Events for 2012 and has been recognized by the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The Christmas parade is made up of a very small committee of very dedicated professionals that feel Owensboro should have a Christmas parade every year.  We are not associated with any government organization and receive no pay for our service to the children (and the children in all of us) in the region.

If you are interested in joining our committee feel free to contact us on the “Contact Us” page.

Now, get ready for a great parade!  It kicks off at 4:30PM sharp on Saturday, November 17th along Second Street in Historic Downtown Owensboro Kentucky!
