Just a few minutes ago, the Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade Association announced the theme for the 2012 Christmas parade.
In celebration of being located on the mighty Ohio River, in celebration of the renovation of Smother's Park, in celebration of the Mitch McConnell Plaza (pictured), in celebration of the new river wall and in celebration of the new hotel and convention center being built along the river, the parade committee chose River Front Christmas as the theme for the Christmas parade in 2012.
